An exciting, challenging and extremely rewarding sales role, giving the opportunity to earn in excess of £35,000 per annum with a strong basic and excellent uncapped commission. 

My client produces maps for Tourist Information Centres and hotels all over the UK and they are growing rapidly.

They are part of a larger company, all based in Wellingborough, this is an opportunity to earn strong money for someone with sales ability and develop as this side of the business continues to grow. The investment is in place for a much larger team in the next 6-12 months.

Simply put, you will be selling advertising on tourist and town maps throughout the UK. As UK based tourism continues to grow, so is the tourism sector and with it competition to reach visitors to each area. We produce high quality, professionally prepared maps used by hotels and tourist information centres – these are given away free to visitors and paid for by advertising on each publication.

You will source your own leads, make contact over the telephone, selling the idea of advertising directly to tourists and visitors. We expect our consultants to manage their own project each month – maximizing work levels and income in revenue & commission. There is as much support or autonomy as you require.

My clients are looking to expand our existing team, working from their offices in Wellingborough. You will earn a basic salary of £17,000 -£20,000 with a realistic OTE of £26-35k+.

Hours of work are: 9am – 5.30, Monday – Friday. 20 days holiday per annum + 8 bank holidays

The role:

This is telephone sales, but NOT a call centre. They do not use scripts for example, they believe the best way to make sales is to build rapport, understand the prospect and identify the package that will work best for them. Their team is varied and dynamic, with everyone motivated to hit targets and earn commission. They are looking for people who know how to open and close a sale.

Experience required:

  • They are looking for people with sales experience, who are self-motivated and driven to work to targets.
  • They will provide training and support but they expect people to be capable of running your own projects and self-source most of their leads.
  • You will need to be confident that you can build rapport quickly and sell an idea to someone on the first contact.
